The Sequoia Park Zoo Chapter of Roots & Shoots was founded in August of 2007 by a group of passionate and dedicated youth volunteers after one of them met Dr. Jane Goodall and she told them all about the program.
Our chapter is run entirely by the youth members but does have some enthusiastic adult support. (Big Thanks to Jen & Frances J)
Sequoia Park Zoo Chapter Member Requirements :
· Must be age 10 or older
· Pay a first time membership dues of $12 and $5 to renew each year. If the member skips a year, or lets membership laps for more than 6 months must pay the $12 first time member payment again.
· You don’t have to be a member to participate in activities and events.
